Just imagine buying an apple or stone fruit that has been on the shelves for three months. It will still look fresh to you because of refrigeration. However, it will have very little nutritional value to your body. Yet again, the produce is harvested prematurely to ensure they do not spoil during transportation.

Crops that grow in the bushes and forests are naturally strong. They are also healthy and can adapt to any changes in their surroundings. This explains why you will not find someone weeding or spraying the crops to control weeds and pests. Survival of the fittest remains the unspoken motto for the jungle. Such plants usually have their natural goodness and will not have anything to harm your body.

Enjoying such great cuisines is not a preserve for the few. For the most part, most of this plants grow wild near residential areas. Have a habit of maintaining nature and you will enjoy what it has to offer. If you cannot find them, consider making a trip to the conservation areas. You can be sure to find them. Use one of the local guides to help you choose edible fruits and vegetables.

A healthy diet is central to your health. Always ask your local supplier questions to ascertain the produce is fresh and natural. If not, you can find such meals in most restaurants around you.
