The bottomline is that you need to know who you are dealing with. Understand that you could come across many establishments and people who are selling the items that you need.

At least with brand new ones, you will not have this kind of problem as they usually work well during first few years of using them. With used items, you cannot expect that. You can be sure that they will not stop working one of these days. It is just a matter of time. Another thing that you should consider is the warranty of these gadgets.

The owner of the item could be its manufacturer, the person who owned the food establishment where the item is currently kept or held or another company that owns the property.

You can do the inspection from there but this is only possible or convenient to do when the location of the business establishment of the previous owner is conveniently located from you.

It only looked good in the picture but when you actually saw it, it was not as quality looking. In place of actually seeing the product, try to find the previous customers of the seller. They could tell you about the quality of the product that they bought from the seller.
