When you have guests arriving in less than an hour, you might get panicky thinking about what to serve them. You need a meal that will not lose in taste to other people's cooking. Moreover, you do not want to make just any sort of dish. You need one which can also be helpful in enhancing your guests' health.

Since that is the case, then you better equip yourself with some knowledge regarding dishes you can make in less than an hour. You have to get ideas on how to prepare healthy 30 minute meals even on short notice. Here are some examples of dishes you can create when your guests are arriving any time now.

You can have burgers served to the guests. The burger is not just any kind of burger. It is a veggie bean burger. This means that the dish you will serve to the guests is fit for vegetarians. The burger can be garnished with shredded carrots at the side, squeezing a bit of lemon on it. The dish becomes more savory that way.

You can make stir fry dishes as well. It should not be that time-consuming for you to make the stir fry dishes so go ahead with a recipe for this. A good recommendation would be chicken stir fry. This Asian recipe will cook faster if you use instant brown rice. The brown rice is also relatively healthier than the white rice.

A salad recipe can also get you out of your fix when your guests are about to arrive. You can just look up for some easy to prepare salad recipe that everyone will love. Most of the people nowadays love California rolls so you can take advantage of having that as a salad recipe to serve guests, only without the sushi part.

Another dish you can make on short notice would be chicken wraps. For this dish, you will need to use cooked ground chicken. This will become the filling you will use for the chicken wrap or pita pocket. To make the cooked ground chicken tastier, you can add other ingredients like chili powder, bell peppers, and ground cumin into it.

Normally, you will serve chicken Parmesan if you have time to prepare for it. However, the visit being on short notice, you might not have enough time for the preparation. Thus, you can go with the lightened version. You can have herb-grilled chicken cutlets for it, with mozzarella topped tomato half on the side. Garnish it with some lemon-kissed basil.

If you have corn, then you have the perfect ingredient for a salsa. The corn can be turned into a vibrant-flavored salsa which you can put at the side when you want to serve steak. For the steak, pick the quick-cooking one. You can then spice it up with chipotle.

In a case when you only have salmon to prepare, then you do not have to worry. You should just prepare a basil-infused olive oil, lemon, and lime. These are the ingredients that can add more depth to the salmon you are preparing. These can surely make your dish more savory.
